The cast and crew of the Alton Little Theater production of The Spitfire Grill has been recognized by the arts community of the Greater St. Louis area. The group brought home five awards from the 13th Best Performance Awards, including the honor of Best Small Music Ensemble for the musical that contained uplifting tunes and soulful ballads.

Among the winners was director Diana Enloe who received recognition for Set Design and for Lighting Design. Enloe says that the recipients of awards felt as if they were representing more than just the ALT.

Jeff Pruett and Jane Hill were also recognized for Lighting Design. Allison Neace and Michael Frazier took home awards for Best Musical Direction of the Production, while Debbie Maneke was named Best Featured Actress.

Enloe has also been named the Director Emeritus for the upcoming production of The Glass Menagerie which will be part of the theater's 79th season.
