Alton High School holds its graduation tonight, with 488 seniors getting ready to say goodbye for the final time.   The ceremony will be the largest so far since graduation was permanently moved indoors to the gym several years ago.  The event begins at 7pm, but if you have a ticket, make sure to be in your seat by 6:50.

Doors to the gym and auditorium open at 5:30pm.  Overflow seating is available on a first come, first serve basis in the auditorium, and in the cafeteria commons where the ceremony will be shown on the big screen.  Parking lot shuttles will be running before and after the event, including from about 100 new parking spots at the new athletic fields on the back of campus.  Brey says to expect the ceremony to last about 3 hours.  For details on graduation, go to
