Two sisters were the alleged targets of abuse by a friend of their mother, and now the man accused of the crimes is behind bars. 45-year-old Donald K. Hausman of the 200 block of South 13th Street is charged with two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child and two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
The girls were 9 and 12 years old at the time of the alleged incidents last year. Predatory criminal sexual assault of a child is a Class X felony, punishable by 6-30 years in prison. Aggravated criminal sexual abuse is a Class 2 felony, punishable by 3-7 years in prison. He is being held on $500,000 bond.
