A couple of construction projects are underway at St. Louis Regional Airport.  One that is just getting underway involves rerouting electrical service from underneath a hangar.  The other addresses an issue that impacts pilots.

Airport Manager David Miller tells The Big Z there was a taxiway that had a fairly sharp bend that needed to be reworked.

The grant covered 90% of the $1.2-million cost, while another 5% was paid for through the Division of Aeronautics.  That left the local match at just 5%, according to Miller.
