With prom and wedding season just around the corner, you may be in the market for a limousine.  If you are shopping the market, there are a few things the Better Business Bureau wants you to know, in the wake of a St. Charles company that has been under the microscope recently for failing to show up for scheduled pick ups.

In some cases, customers have reported trouble getting refunds from Showtime Limousines and had difficulty contacting company representatives by phone or email.  No matter which company you choose, Better Business Bureau Investigator Bill Smith says you should pay for your service with a credit card if possible.

Smith comments

He says when shopping for a limo company, visit the garage or lot where the limousines are stored to inspect them closely for any potential issues.  Meet on location with a company representative. Be wary of any limousine business that does not have an office.  And make sure you get a contract and read it carefully before signing.
