There were three contested Madison County Board races in the River Bend on election day, and two incumbents are headed back to a new term and a challenger has been chosen to take on an incumbent this fall. In Godfrey's District 6, it was a tight Republican race, but incumbent Steve Adler held off a challenge from Joanne Adams by 21 votes. In District 8 in Alton, office holder Michael Holliday, Senior, easily defeated challenger John Eric Robinson.

The Republican race in District 13 had Justin Sandbach defeating Tony Rangel, Junior.  Sandbach will face incumbent Democrat Steve Brazier this fall.

District 11 - Republican - Jeans Myers

District 19 - Democrat - Terry Davis

District 21 - Democrat - Arthur Asadorian

District 22 - Democrat - Nick Petrillo
