A new fundraiser for Make-A-Wish, IL has been deemed a success by event organizers. The second annual Ride for Wishes was held October 4th, and about 20 riders and their passengers participated this year. The event helped raise at least $4,500 for the charity.
The 70-mile ride began at Ted’s Motorcycle World in Alton and ended at the Alton-Wood River Sportsmen’s Club in Godfrey where it was followed by a silent auction. Organizer Norma Glazebrook tells The Big Z they are looking forward to even bigger things next year.
