The 5As Animal Shelter and the Godfrey Parks and Recreation Department are teaming up with several partners to present the 7th Annual "Bark in the Park" at Glazebrook Park on Sunday.  The event is expected to draw people from near and far, with contests for pets and owners, and food and fun for the whole family.

5A's Director Ric Jun says the no-kill animal shelter, and the region, benefits from Bark in the Park.  He says there will be plenty of activities for the whole family.

Jun comments

Contests include Survivor Dog, a "Best Pet Tricks" contest, and all the fun running from Noon-4pm.  The 5-A's has been serving the Riverbend area since 1959.
