Celebrate the day of the dead and take a walk in the dark to visit haunted locations within eight blocks of Mineral Springs. Explore the Underground Railroad tunnels beneath the old Enos Sanitarium, tour the complete Mineral Springs Hotel, experience a seance in the men's pool and a tarot card reading. The cost is $30 for the walking tour, $50 for the tour + dinner and $100 for a haunted overnight experience. Reservations are required. For more information, call (618) 465-3200.

Wine and Beer Tasting to benefit Hope Animal Rescues at the Grafton Winery, 300 West Main, Grafton, IL on Sunday, Novmeber 1st from 2-4 pm. Wine tasting provided by The Grafton Winery and beer tasting provided by Donnewald Distributing.

Chicago White Sox Pitcher Mark Buehrle will be making a special appearance and signing autographs of his "Buehrlot" wine for an extra $20 fee. All proceeds go to Hope Animal Rescues. The "Buehrlot" will not be sold at the event. It can be purchased ahead of time at www.charitywines.com.

The photographs entered for the North American Indian Photography Contest will be displayed. The contest, sponsored by the Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site and Cahokia Mounds Museum Society, is open to both amateurs and professionals and seeks photographs that transcend simple snapshots and evoke the spirit of the North American Indian: people, character, events, objects, symbols, environment, past or present culture, and soul.
