1st and 2nd Grade- Mischievous Invaders July 21-25, 2014 - 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Is it a bird? A plant? An armadillo? Campers become invader rangers and investigate TNI for aquatic, grassland, and forest invaders. This week we will learn to help get rid of the invaders. We will tend to our milkweed plants for monarch butterflies, provide homes for native bees, and put together a rain garden. We will compete later in the week at the “Invasive Species Olympics”. Campers are visited by the folks from Orkin midweek. We will be trekking over to LaVista Community Garden to help ward off pests from their garden. Campers will create a journal of their invader quests. At Friday’s family program, campers share their original ideas for controlling the mischievous invaders!

Kindergarten through 5th & 6th grade camps:
Non-members $160.00 per camper
TNI Members $140.00 per camper
Kindergarten through 5th and 6th grade camps are M-F from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Tuition includes: the $25 registration fee, a TNI camp t-shirt, take home crafts, 5:1 camper to counselor ratio, educational curriculum, guest speaker and a Friday family picnic. We accept check, cash, credit or debit cards.

A Family Membership ($50/year) entitles you and your family to early registration, Friday, March 14th from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and discounts on Discovery Day Camp, invitations to various special events hosted by TNI throughout the year, an annual newsletter and discounted rates on all other adult and childrens programs!
