Eagles over the Confluence: Live Ice Carving Demo

To kick off the 2013 Eagle season, Chip off the Block Ice Carvings will be at the Tower for a live demonstration of their chainsaw work.

Watch Chip off the Block during a live ice sculpture demonstration. The demo will begin at 10 a.m. and will continue throughout the day until finished. Chip Off the Block Ice Carvings will set the event in motion as they start with an uncut solid ice block standing over 3 feet tall. The carving begins with a chainsaw and then die grinders, wood chisels and handsaws are used to complete the detail. The sculpture will be available for viewing throughout the weekend (weather permitting).

Event is free; there is an admission to tour the tower.
