The Winnett Law Firm is a new addition to the Alton business community. The principal of the firm, R. Dan Winnett, is both a lawyer, with over 27 years experience, and an accomplished business man. He graduated cum laude from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 1984 and obtained an executive MBA in bio-tech development from Vanderbilt University in 2003. In his business capacity, Mr. Winnett has served as In House Counsel and/or CEO of several mid-level pharmaceutical ventures. He has provided over-site for new
product R&D, obtained and maintained Patents, Copyrights and Trademarks, met and exceeded ISO compliance regulations and personally managed new product launches into highly competitive pharmaceutical markets. In his legal capacity, Mr. Winnett has successfully served as lead counsel in complex business litigation, blue and white collar criminal cases along with intellectual property cases in several venues and states.

In addition to Mr. Winnett, the firm has on staff Jeffrey Driver, BS. He is a petroleum exploration engineer with over 24 years of experience in oil and gas exploration, production, refining and the legal issues associated with
these mining processes. Mr. Driver has served in an expert capacity in numerous legal cases involving all of the areas of the oil and gas industry in addition to toxic torts and products liability involving personal injury and damage to livestock, crops and farm land.

 The detailed legal, business, industry, and trial backgrounds of Mr. Winnett and Mr. Driver will greatly  compliment their ability to serve the clients they represent and our legal community.
