Tuesday 3 March the Junior Girls held a bake sale at the VFW 1308. Four of the eight girls sold bake goods from pineapple upside cakes, cheese cakes, brownies and cookies and other items.
The girls Georgina Gannon, Makayla Martin, Tara Oettle and Amber Oettle also held a raffle which was a bingo-lovers delight. It was drawn just after half time of the VFW'S Bingo night. It was won by a regular bingo player.
The girls had help selling bake goods by Todd Cook and Eric Oettle Jr who happily gave their time for the girls.
The bake goods were donated by Charles Martin and Donna Martin which the girls say a big thank you.
The Jr Girls have bake sales to raise money for Vetrans and Nursing Homes.
The girls raised $77.00 from the bake sale and $64.00 from the raffle. All money raised will be going for Vetrans Craft Kits.
