David L. Craig, a retired customer relations manager with AT&T, was elected chairman of Chapter 423 of SCORE of Southwestern Illinois for the 2008-2009 fiscal year.
Craig succeeds Martha Cogan, who served two years as chairman of the chapter based at Lewis and Clark Community College in Godfrey.
Serving with Craig are Joel M. Buesteton, retired group manager of process engineering with ATandT, second vice chairman; Maryann Cain, a retired banker, secretary; and Geoffrey Goetz, a retired accountant, treasurer.
SCORE volunteers provide free counseling to those who want to go into business, and to those who are in business, and who want to expand.
